NEWSLETTER ‘25 - WINTER

Dear Mountain Medicine Friends,

As the snow blankets our beloved Outdoor Center in Bohuslän, Sweden, we are closing another beautiful year of community, adventure, ceremony and profound inner work. We are so immensely grateful for the ever-growing tribe of fellow seekers, adventurers and travellers who have been joining us in our search for greater power, love and wisdom in our lives.

As our community grows, the medicine that we share during our gatherings becomes more potent. Everyone that joins by the fire, brings his or her own story and experience to share, which potentially hold the answer to someone else’s deepest question. Now that we meet more frequently, it’s also more clear what it is that we seek; our own truth, authenticity, to walk our path towards our destiny, not for ourselves, but to ‘do our part’ in the greater turning of our time.

And now there is winter, with its quiet contemplative mystery, calls us inward—toward reflection and renewal; reminding us once more that nothing lasts forever, and all things must come to closure, before they can begin again. As the forest and fjords around us grow colder and darker, the call of wilderness becomes a whisper. This is inviting us to find that same stillness within ourselves and begin to listen and look ever more carefully, to that which remains when the noise of daily life has disappeared.

The struggles and complexities of daily life might feel more pronounced in the darker months, but the remedy is closer than we think. When nature rests, and it’s landscapes lose their colour, and are covered with frost, it teaches about patience, perseverance, as well as a gentle, effortless preparation for the burst of spring that lies a head.

Our aim for this winter, and the upcoming spring, is to give structure, guidance and direction to this process, supporting you to truly feel, follow and feed the unfolding cycles of the natural world inside yourself; giving shape to a meaningful, connected and purposeful life based on the ‘original instructions’.
